Schwabenbauer Award

The Schwabenbauer Award may be granted annually to one member of the CSLA-AAPC in recognition of their unselfish and devoted service to the CSLA at the national level over a period of not less than five years.

The 2009 award was presented to Cecelia Paine of the University of Guelph’s School of Environmental Design and Rural Development in Guelph, Ontario. Her many contributions to the CSLA. include serving as CSLA President; President of the Landscape Architecture Canada Foundation; Founding Editor of Landscapes/Paysages magazine; and serving on Committees too numerous to mention.

Nominations may be made by any Member of the CSLA-AAPC (other than the Nominee), any component organization of the CSLA, or by any associated organization of the CSLA.

2010 Schwabenbauer Award nomination submission deadline is May 15, 2010.
