Community Service Awards

The Canadian Society of Landscape Architects Community Service Awards recognize public agencies and community groups who have contributed significantly to environmental responsibility. These awards provide an opportunity to develop awareness of others who share the CSLA’s goals and to promote the profession's commitment to environmental sustainability.

Nominations may be for community service centered on activities at the local, regional or national level and may originate from any CSLA member or Component Association. Nominations are to be reviewed and supported by the Component Association and brought to the CSLA Board of Directors for consideration via the Component representative a minimum of three months prior to the Annual CSLA Congress. The CSLA Board of Directors will review the nominations and make a recommendation as to which nominees should receive an award. There is no limit to the number of nominations.

2010 CSLA Community Service Award nomination submission deadline is May 15, 2010.
